The List of Lasts

I came across Bozoette's entry earlier today, and decided I had to steal, erm, borrow it from her. It's okay, really; she quoteborrowedunquote it from Bev. Enjoy!

Last CD/vinyl/tape you purchased: Free to be ... You and Me on CD. I had the record, um, I mean, vinyl when I was a kid, and I loved it. Another blogger - I believe it was dooce - mentioned it earlier this month, and I decided I had to listen to it again. Yes I am trying to relive my childhood. Isn't that what one is supposed to do when one turns 40?

Last music you listened to: One More Night by Inhabited on KLIFE radio.

Last show you went to: I haven't been to any shows in a very long time. The last one was Tori Amos in Portland in '93 or '94.

Last thing you watched on television: Larry King Live.

Last thing you ate: Potato and Leek soup, applesauce with cinnamon, and a few veggies.

Last item of clothing you bought: Actually I bought two things: a brown sweater and pair of dark green corderoy pants.

Last thing you said: "See you later" to the lady who runs the reception desk. I was covering her break.

Last person you saw: My coworkers. I wished them all a Happy New Year!

Last time you felt scared: Back in April (2000) after I lost my nice, cushy law firm job. I was terrified. I had such a great job, I was afraid I wouldn't find anything as good as that. Or worse: I'd end up back in retail. But, everything worked out: I have a great job now!

Last time you cried: Christmas Eve. I got really emotional watching It's a Wonderful Life. That movie always gets me!

Last time you said you were sorry: A couple weeks ago when I accidently bumped into someone else's cart at the grocery store. It was totally my fault.

Last time you got into a fight: I've never been in a fight. I've had arguments, but no fights.

Last time you lied: I can't think of a specific time, but pretty much any time I tell my mom I'm fine when I'm really not.

Last time you felt inspired: Just a couple days ago, actually. I've had writer's block for quite a while, and suddenly the cloud lifted and I've been able to do some writing.

Last person you emailed: My friend Jewel with Happy New Year's wishes.

Last movie you saw: March of the Penguins on DVD. Does that count? Otherwise the last film I saw in the theater was Batman Begins this past summer. I'm not a big movie goer.

Last wish: I wish people would have more respect for the lives of unborn babies.

Last words: Happy New Year! May God bless you and your family in 2006 and beyond!

for what it's worth ...
