I’ve been bored with my hair for over a week now. I’ve perused hair cut magazines, fell in love with several super cute short styles, but realistically, in my heart of hearts, knew I couldn’t pull any of them off. My hair – what there is of it – is thin, fine, limp and basically blah. But, still, I wanted to do something with my hair. Something more than just colouring it. So I decided to get a perm.

It’s been ages since I’ve had a perm – at least 10 years. And now I’m wondering what the hell took me so long? I love it! I kept the length – just below the shoulder – and now have a head of full, curly hair!! I am beyond thrilled!!
In other news, I am just a few short days away from heading off to the frozen north – Wisconsin! – for the Third Annual WeetaCon (or, ThreetaCon, as it’s being called this year), and I’m nowhere near being ready. I have no idea what to pack, I haven’t organized a thing, and I haven’t done any swag. I feel kinda bad about that, but really, it’s too late to do anything now. I do still have some chapbooks from last year, self-portrait.net bookmarks from a previous JournalCon, lisa-marie.net business cards and some little photo calling cards I made off MOO, so I suppose I have plenty of stuff to take and just toss onto the table. Maybe someone who’s coming this year doesn’t have a bookmark or chapbook or whatever. And maybe I can get rid of some more of this stuff! *wink*
And finally, thanks to one of my favourite websites ever – ohmythatsawesome.com - I found this super fun photo editor and have been having a blast playing around with some of my pictures. Like this one:

It’s fun!! And free!!
