The second part of our home improvement project – moving the craft armoir into the little green corner – was completed quite easily this morning thanks to the help of Moving Men! I actually first heard of these moving marvels from my internet friend Mary, who has been staging her home for sale. She used a different brand of sliding movers, but I found the Moving Men after doing a quick Google search, and discovered they were available at Kitchen Collection, a store we just so happen to have right here in Atascadero! I picked up a box last night, and this morning after having coffee and breakfast, my mom and I put the movers to the test.

And … they worked! They worked great! I am very, very impressed! I’m also very happy with how the craft armoir looks against the dark green wall.

Once we got that taken care of, I worked on my computer desk. I’ve been wanting to organize the cords, and the whole thing needed dusting, so this was the perfect opportunity to do both.

I love how big this room looks and feels now! We’re stopping now, as I mentioned before, we’re taking this project one step at a time, and the next step is … well, kinda up in the air right now. We’ll paint the rest of the room (a lighter green), but we aren’t sure what exactly we want to do with the other side of the room. But, it’s not a big deal, and it can definitely wait. Besides, it’s May, and that means gardening!!! We’ll be picking up our veggie plants next weekend, so stay tuned!
